Claire Trickler-McNulty, a senior administrator in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), is set to be interviewed about a dramatic decline in detentions and expulsions of illegal migrants under her custody. The House Judiciary Committee wants the mandarin to clarify why only a small number' of illegal migrants are being deported by ICE, while the other seeks 'alternatives to detention' (ATD), which include parenting education lessons. Jim Jordan, Committee Chairman Jim Jordan wrote a letter sent to Trickler-McNulty, which was exclusive to DailyMail.com, that the Biden Administration's open-borders policies, which encourage illegal immigrants to the detriment of American citizens and legal immigrants'.
Since being flown in on the Biden administration's immigrant parole scheme, Republicans want to know about Haitian man 26, who'assaulted 15-year-old girl.'

Republicans on a Judiciary Committee have requested that the Biden administration release all details relating to an undocumented Haitian migrant suspected of raping a 15-year-old teen. Cory Alvarez, 26, is one of hundreds of thousands of migrants arriving in the United States from foreign airports in Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela as part of the CHNV's citizenship program. Since Venezuelan undocumented immigrant Jose Ibarra, 26, was charged with murdering Georgia nursing student Laken Riley, 22, last month, protesting the screening process for migrants arriving in the United States has been at the forefront.
China warns that TikTok ban will "resurface the United States" and that there are "no evidence" that the app jeopardizes American national security

The Chinese Communist Party issued an alarm warning the same day as US senators introduced a bill that could prohibit TikTok nationally. In a bipartisan vote 352 - 65, the House passed the bill on Wednesday morning. Through ByteDance, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leaders are using TikTok to spy on its US customers' locations and control its influence management process, making it a national security threat. Ahead of the election, a CCP spokesman slammed the key arguments made by US senators in their drive to pass the bill. 'Even though the United States has never found evidence that TikTok is jeopardizing US national security, it hasn't stopped denying TikTok,' foreign ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said. "This sort of bullying behavior that is impossible in fair competition disrupts companies' normal business development, jeopardizes international investors' confidence in the investment climate, and damages the international economic and trade order.' "British democracy will eventually bite the United States itself,' Wang said.
Republicans demand Alejandro Mayorkas hand over information on illegal migrant from Venezuela charged with brutal murder of Laken Riley

House Republicans are now requesting that DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas turn over any details about the illegal immigrant who is accused of murdering a nursing student. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), and Immigration Integrity, Protection, and Enforcement Subcommittee Chair Rep. Tom McClintock (R-Calif.) sent a letter requesting information about Jose Antonio Ibarra, 26. With Laken Riley, a 22-year-old university student, murdered last week, the undocumented Venezuelan migrant faces allegations.
What's next for Alejandro Mayorkas? From a Cuban immigrant who immigrated to the United States at the age of one to the first cabinet minister jailed in 1876 for'causing' the border crisis

Alejandro Mayorkas, 64, is now the second cabinet secretary to be impeached, and the first in nearly 150 years after Republicans chastised the Homeland Security chief for his treatment of the southern border crisis. The House of Representatives finally impeached the DHS Secretary on Tuesday by a margin of just a single vote - a long time for members of the GOP, who are outraged at Democrats' for loosening immigration policy in the wake of record-breaking migration across the US-Mexico border. The impeachment charge was brought by Mayor Kasso after the lower chamber barely failed to pass the motion in a separate election last week.
After an embarrassing loss last week, House Republicans have voted to IMPEACH Alejandro Mayorkas on his second attempt

Finally, House Republicans defeated impeach Homeland Security Sec. John Kerry. Alejandro Mayorkas survived just one week after their first attempt spectacularly failed. President Biden's top border official, Mayor Kass, is accused of failing to follow immigration law and lying to Congress about the state of the US-Mexico border. The bill passed by just one vote - 214 to 213 after three Republicans, Rep. Ken Buck, R-Colo., Mike Gallagher, R-Wis., and Tom McClintock, R-Calif., all voted against it, setting a 'poor precedent' for the GOP.
Whip Tom Emmer says Republican leadership KNEW Mayorkas impeachment vote would fail on the floor but 'hoped' some members would change their minds

Emmer said he knew that the impeachment and Israel votes would result in two blunders on Tuesday night, but the government was hopeful that this could change their colleagues's minds. 'We know what the votes are when we go to the floor,' said the Minnesota Republican who is in charge of wrangling votes in the free-wheeling GOP convention to pass his party's agenda.' Homeland Security Sec. John Kerry's impeachment was dismissed on Tuesday night. Alejandro Mayorkas failed, but just one vote shy of what was needed to pass. A bill that promised $17.6 billion to Israel failed to receive the two-thirds majority it required to pass under suspension of the laws. In a sit-down interview with DailyMail.com, Emmer expressed 'We were hoping that a few of our members would change their mind.'

'What's the deal here? You're seeing the tumultuous sausage play out in the political process, and it isn't always clean.' On Wednesday, Johnson told a gaggle of reporters that it isn't always pretty. Rep. Thomas Massie wrote on X after the two failed bills, one of which was rejected, turned into an unmitigated disaster.' All work on separate spending bills has been suspended.' For investment increases, spending cuts have been blamed. Warrantless spying has been postponed for a brief period of time. ' The majority of us has shrunk.' I don't think this is a reflection on the leader,' Johnson replied to the criticism: "I don't think this is a reflection on the leader." It's a reflection on the body itself.'
Mike Gallagher, the top Republican, who debuffed Republicans' leadership of Alejandro Mayorkas' impeachment, says the 'embarrass' vote might have been postponed; Speaker Johnson was unconcerned because he whipped 'no for more than a month' to deny setting a 'Pelosi precedent.'

Mike Gallagher, a top Republican, says his "no" vote on Alejandro Mayorkas' impeachment should not have come as a surprise to GOP leadership. The 'embarrass' vote for Republicans, according to Gallagher, who chairs the House Select Committee on China, may have been avoided if they failed to gather enough votes to impeach Biden's top border official in a dramatic floor fiasco. Yesterday, Republicans suffered a string of failures as chaos grips both the House and Senate.

House Republicans refused to hold an impeachment of Homeland Security Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas was chastised for mishandling the southern border crisis in a close vote. The 216-214 vote marks the second big legislative flop of the day for Republicans, who remain largely divided across the House and Senate. Rep. Steve Scalise, R-La., who is out of cancer treatment, led to a flurry of boos and chanting in the House chamber as senators waited for the one crucial vote that might break the tie.
Speaker Mike Johnson's impeachment appears to be getting more tense votes as TWO Republicans prepare to vote 'no': after Ken Buck and Tom McClintock join in on 'unconstitutional' steps, Mayor Kassandra can't afford to lose one more Republican defector
www.dailymail.co.uk,
February 6, 2024
Two Republicans now oppose impeaching Homeland Security Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas is the cause of the House GOP's reluctation in getting the two articles published. Rep. Tom McClintock, R-Calif., and Rep. Ken Buck, R-Colo., both announced that he would vote 'no' on the motion to impeach Mayorkas on Tuesday. On X, McClintock wrote, "The only way to prevent the border invasion is to replace the Biden administration at the ballot box." A swapping one leftist for another is a fantasy, solves nothing, excuses Biden's culpability, and increases the possibility of a civil lawsuit that would threaten Republicans someday.'
Sec. Johnson has a slim margin to pass Sec. TUESDAY (TODAY): On TUESDAY, GOP hardliner Ken Buck steps in, arguing that expulsion Biden's troubled official over the southern border disaster is constitutionally 'wrong'

The vote to impeach Homeland Security Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas will fall by a razor-thin margin on Tuesday, with Colorado GOP Rep. Ken Buck leading the drive. Speaker Mike Johnson said on Friday that he would consult with Buck over the weekend to discuss his opposition to the impeachment drive, but a source close to Buck told DailyMail.com that the congressman had not heard from him all weekend. He's a great friend, a coworker.' I'll talk to him this weekend,' the speaker said on Fox Business. The only openly 'no' vote on impeaching the Homeland Security Secretary is on the buck. Republicans, on the other hand, can only afford to lose a few votes and pass the impeachment bills.
As outgoing Republican Ken Buck says he will vote AGAINST it, the GOP will face disaster if one more member of the party rejects an investigation into border confusion

Rep. Ken Buck of Colorado stood out adamantly against the attempt to impeach Homeland Security Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas - a defection that could jeopardize the project's chances. 'It's maladministration.' Buck is terribly ill, the border is a tragedy, but it isn't impeachable,' he told reporters on Thursday, 'not changing [his] mind.' "I'm talking to on the outside, political experts, and former members, all agree that this isn't an impeachable offence," Buck said. House Republicans have confirmed that the impeachment will be up for a vote next week. And after a 15-hour Homeland Security demonstration, Buck's resistance could have been a death knell, particularly given the two current Republican absences in the House.
Despite Democrat delay tactics during a fiery committee debate, and as some Republicans remain on the fence about final passage, Top Republican Steve Scalise maintains that Mayorkas impeachment will take place next week
www.dailymail.co.uk,
January 30, 2024
Steve Scalise, the Majority Leader, maintained that the impeachment papers for Homeland Security Sec. were not included. Alejandro Mayorkas will pass the committee on Tuesday night and then on to the House floor next week, even as Democrats resorted to postponed tactics. Because of the tense and lengthy hearing, which accuses Mayorkas of numerous crimes and misdemeanors, it is likely to drag out late in the night. To keep the hearing open, Democrats submitted amendments and other procedural motions. On Fox News, Scalise said, 'It will be out of committee today.' 'It will be on the floor next week for the full House to vote on.'

The resolution was defeated 208 to 213. If you want to table or destroy the proposal, you must read this article. Nearly Democrats, including many who expressed reservations over Tlaib's words, voted for the motion to table it. The bill now goes to a final vote on Wednesday. Censure is a form of public reprimand with no formal repercussions. Six Republicans voted with Democrats to post the bill: Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., Mike Garcia, R-Calif., Tom McClintock, R-Calif., John Duarte, R-Calif., Ryan Zinke, R-Texas, and Ken Buck, R-Colo.
After failed to gain sufficient funding for a House speaker, Republicans mocked their own shambolic bid to select a Speaker, leaving Congress befuddled for ten days. 'We look like a bunch of idiots,' says Republican president Steve Scalise.'

The House is still without a speaker, and House Republicans continue to hurl insults at their own conference in the face of their inability to unite behind a leader that will allow them to function. Their speaker has been deposed, the top voter-getter has been barred, and there are no guarantees that anyone will get the 217 votes required to guarantee a vote in the House of Commons. Rep. Steve Scalise's resignation gives Rep. Jim Jordan a chance to run in the race.

Republicans have introduced a bill that would eliminate K-12 schools that promote critical race theory from federal funding
www.dailymail.co.uk,
January 26, 2023
Rep. Chip Roy of Florida has introduced a bill to defund public schools that practice'racism teaching' by teaching students to 'divisive theories,' such as critical race theory. The Combating Racist Teaching in Schools Act, or CRT Act, would prohibit federal funding at K-12 schools that promote such "race-based theories." Any race is inherently superior or inferior to any other race, color, or national origin,' the legislation states; or that "the Declaration of Independence or Constitution of the United States are fundamentally racist books." It also targets instruction in areas such as race-based conscious or subconscious bias or teachings that members of one race are responsible for behavior committed by other members of their community.
