GWS Giants confirmed that Josh Fahey has been handed a four-match suspension by the AFL for a costume he wore at the club's end-of-season function and for his involvement in a skit performed at the event. It comes as five other players were issued lesser suspensions after reports emerged this week that the AFL were investigating the club's 'Wacky Wednesday' party that had the theme 'controversial couples'. Reports had claimed that several of the players had donned distasteful outfits while some had also performed some 'unsavoury skits'.

A truck turned into a bus carrying 44 children from Tom Green Elementary school who were returning from a field trip to the Capital of Texas Zoo on March 22, transforming the truck into a bus carrying 44 pre-kindergarten students. The cement truck veered into the school bus right before a driver in a third vehicle, a Dodge Charger, crashed into the bus, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. Jerry Hernandez, 42, who has since confessed to smoking marijuana the night before, got only three hours of sleep and then woke up for work and did cocaine at 1 a.m. Hernandez confessed to consuming the illicit drug while being rushed to the hospital after the deadly accident that killed two people. Ulises Rodriguez Montoya, a five-year-old girl on board, was one of the two people killed in the tragic accident.
