After putting the kids to bed tonight I heard that The Christmasaurus and the Naughty List is the No.1 children’s paperback again this week (and the first two books are No.3 & 5, the picture book is No.2…and The Danger Gang No.10, and Space Band is No.3 in the hardback chart!!!) 🤯💚 Just wanted to say that I absolutely don’t take any of that for granted, it honestly means the world, particularly at the moment as I’m currently in the middle of writing 3 different projects and under just a little pressure 🥴 It’s easy to forget the reason I write these books and that people are actually reading them so to get this news is INCREDIBLE. Huge thanks to anyone who is reading any of my books at the moment. It’s an honour to get to share my stories with you. Im celebrating with a slightly squished mince pie. Yesterday morning we took the kids to a 40th anniversary screening of one of my favourite films of all time, The Snowman and as we were waiting for the film to start, we were introduced to the man sitting next to us…Howard Blake! Now, there’s not many pieces of music that have had such a huge influence on my life as The Snowman so to get to shake the hand of the man that wrote Walking In The Air and thank him for that was a real honour, then to sit in and watch it on the big screen next to him was incredibly special! I was so happy to find out that The Christmasaurus & the Naughty List is Number 1 that my head spontaneously turned into a book. A NUMBER 1 BESTSELLING BOOK! 🥹🤯 Thanks so much to everyone who has jumped on this Christmasaurus journey with me over the years.
