After being left befuddled by Newcastle tactics, Thomas Frank calls out the "DARK ARTS of football."

AADAM PATEL AT THE GTECH COMMUNITY STADIUM: Thomas Frank argued that the 'dark arts' in football are going too far after Brentford's loss at home to Newcastle. After Ivan Toney was suspended from the field, he was on the touchline when another penalty was given as his Brentford teammates continued to absorb the pressure from the Newcastle players in a similar way as Kieran Trippier did against Nottingham Forest last month. 'It's happened a few times - I remember the first time Tim Krul was on Norwich, Tim Krul was very active, but it could have been the other way around.' You shouldn't have to worry about the person who is making the call,' Frank said.

Several uncapped players are competing in Qatar's World Cup, aiming to fulfill their dream of playing on football's biggest stage. Here's a look at them.

Murphy is a former hall-of-fame coach of Holland's national volleyball team, and he has been charged with assisting the Dutch goalies in finding where takers can place their spot kicks.

JON WEST AT CARROW ROAD: Albion's early header put them on track for their second Championship victory of the season. But fortune left Bruce and his players dead in the 68th minute when Teemu Pukki's shot went off the unwitting Byram, and Albion appeals for handball were unable to convince the officials. Albion's results placed them at a definite departure from the relegation equation, which often sees under-performing teams as part of the team's leadership. Bruce was adamant referee Thomas Bramall and his staff had erred with Norwich's intention, as well as getting a penalty claim wrong earlier this year.
