After a little girl, who was described as young as 'four or five', was assaulted by a drunk man outside a Tesco store in Hereford on Saturday 29 April, west Mercia Police are urging witnesses to come forward. According to police, a man was arrested after being inebriated and disorderly, as well as assault, and he is now in police detention. The child is said to have been with her father at the time of the incident.

William walked slowly and thoughtfully down the village street. It was the week after Christmas. Henry was also absent. Douglas and Ginger were the only two of his relatives left in the village.
