The O2 Academy Glasgow crowd is up and down like maniacs at 11 p.m., and it's being greeted with a slew of maniacs. The audience is thronging at the stage where DJ Jo Whiley, clad in a silver minidress, is bouncing up and down with a unified enthusiasm as Pulp's 'Common People' rises. Jo Whiley's 90s nostalgia danceathons have become something of a thing. She has gone from provincial racecourse gigs to sold out stadiums and a new tour in less than a year. Whiley was in London for a photo shoot and interview, he met Tiffanie Darke. She and her husband, Kevin Burns, have been living in Northamptonshire for 31 years (and also her manager), as well as music director Steve Morton (inset). She arrived wearing armfuls of clothes for the shoot, notes on her phone of things she wants to say, and Prince Harry's Spare's audiobook playing in the car.

Why do my legs feel like I'm wearing lead boots?DR MARTIN SCURR answers your health questions

MARTIN SCURR: Type 2 diabetes is one of the most common causes of hot and stiff legs. Even when there are no signs of the disease, elevated blood sugar levels can damage nerves in the lower legs, resulting in both pain (typically a searing pain) and dullness. Blood or urine tests can be used to determine blood sugar levels. However, I suspect this is not the issue in your situation, as you would already have those tests and diabetes would almost certainly have been excluded.

This was in September. Terry emails everyone that he's sick in bed with a stomach virus and can't do the first week of pre-production sessions. There's no big deal, we'll all be back a week. We are not scheduled to fly out until November 4th.' It was soon apparent that it was life-threatening, and Hall began chemotherapy right away, but he died weeks later.
