Angel Reese shrugged off the latest controversy rocking the WNBA as she showed up in support of her fellow Chicago athletes Sunday. Despite being a Baltimore native and Ravens fan, Reese backed the Windy City after her debut season in Chicago by attending the Bears' game against the Carolina Panthers. The Sky player cheered on the Bears as she made a sideline appearance at Soldier Field as Caleb Williams looked to lead the Bears to a winning record in Week 5 of the NFL season.

Aside from knocking down threes and sharing handshakes, the video highlighted Reese's banter with her teammates during a scrimmage. She is also seen throwing jokes towards coach Teresa Weatherspoon. 'You tired?' I know you tired,' Reese tells her coach during one of the drills. 'Yo, you need some water?' she continued before slapping hands with Weatherspoon and laughing.

The Sky met the Sun for the first time since Marina Mabrey asked to be traded out of Chicago and ended up in Connecticut. It did not take long for Carter to swipe at her former teammate - as Mabrey, who came off the Connecticut bench, took a forearm to the face late in the first. While Mabrey tried to get a shot up in the paint, Carter raised her hand to defend. However, her swat attempt was nowhere close to the ball and clocked Mabrey in the face.

With 2:31 left in the contest, Reese got whistled for her fifth personal foul after reaching into Liberty center Jonquel Jones following an offensive rebound. After flirting with fouling out, Reese appeared to have said something to the official Charles Watson that led to a technical foul. While her choice of words remains a mystery, Reese waived Watson off as she walked away - resulting in a successive tech that led to her ejection.

WNBA fans were furious on Friday night as the league did not broadcast Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso's league debuts with a preseason game for the Chicago Sky against the Minnesota Lynx. Instead the WNBA's website had a link to broadcast Caitlin Clark's league debut for the Indiana Fever against the Dallas Wings. That forced fans to find live streams of fans at the game to see Reese and Cardoso's first professional action.
