Early life
Rushton grew up on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria before transferring to Sydney, where she studied at Oakhill College. She then obtained a diploma in journalism and a Bachelor of Arts at Macleay College, majoring in Media and Communications. At the age of 18, she immigrated to London.
Personal life
Rushton is a mixed race, being half-Anglo-Celtic Australian (through her father) and half-Burmese (through her mother). She is a huge Arsenal fanatic. C.E. Islington, North London, is a fan who has played in Islington, near Arsenal's home ground. Thierry Henry is her all-time favorite player. She has also played for Lindfield F.C. herself. Career
Rushton moved to Singapore in 2010 and assumed a television hosting role on Singtel TV's Mio Stadium channel. On Sunday, she appeared in the English Premier League-focused Tiger Goals.
Rushton took a trip to Australia in 2013 to replace Mel McLaughlin on Fox Sports, who had left the nation. She began presenting match broadcasts of the A-League, English Premier League, and Socceroos fixtures, as well as hosting Sunday Shootout, the network's weekly A-League wrap show, alongside Mark Bosnich, John Kosmina, and Ned Zelic, as of 2016. When she isn't hosting, she is also used as a sideline reporter in Fox Sports' games.
