AC Milan stars Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham are reportedly at risk of being dropped after ignoring manager Paulo Fonseca's penalty orders against Fiorentina. Fonseca had reportedly designated another former Chelsea star Christian Pulisic to take the Italian giants penalties. The Italian giants had been awarded a first half penalty against Fiorentina on Sunday, which was taken and missed by Theo Hernandez.

David De Gea literally handed his Fiorentina side victory over AC Milan on Sunday with two breathtaking penalty saves. Goals from Yacine Adli and Albert Gudmundsson sealed the points for the hosts, with Milan only able to muster a single goal courtesy of Christian Pulisic. Pulisic equalised in the 60th minute, but not before Tammy Abraham and Theo Hernández had penalties saved by the former Man United shot-stopper. 

Former Chelsea star Tammy Abraham is reportedly close to joining Serie A side AC Milan from AS Roma. According to Fabrizio Romano, Paulo Fonseca's side is set for a swap deal with the Giallorossi, with Alexis Saelemaekers leaving the Rossoneri. The development comes after Abraham, who has been in the capital of Italy for the past three years, was unable to regain the confidence of his current manager in his abilities following a severe knee injury at the end of the 2022-23 season.

West Ham have made further enquiries for Villarreal striker Alexander Sorloth but the Spanish side are holding out for £32million. That is the value of the buy-out clause in his current contract. The 28-year-old former Crystal Palace forward had a standout campaign with Villarreal last season, scoring 26 goals in 41 games. West Ham have discussed an offer worth £25m but Villarreal are demanding more.

The trial, in which Rubie is accused of sending malicious communications to former Blues director, Granovskaia in relation to Kurt Zouma's move from Chelsea to West Ham in August 2021, started at Southwark Crown Court on Monday.
