Enraged parents are on the hunt for a school-run 'saboteur' as several have been left with punctured tyres after boobytraps have been left on the grassy verges in their village. Several parents have been left stranded with flat tyres after pulling up outside Creeting St Mary Church of England Primary School in Suffolk at drop-off and pick-up times. The makeshift boobytraps are buried sharp-side-up on street-level grass verges alongside the narrow road which parents drive on to, to try and leave enough space for other traffic to pass.

Betsy Sweeny, 31, bought the century-old McLain House in West Virginia when it was in desperate need of repair - now it is valued at more than $200,000. The historian and property consultant moved to the city of Wheeling in 2019 when she switched jobs and was intrigued by the house and its rich history. She embarked on a years-long renovation project after shelling out $18,500 for the property - and after a $100,000 construction loan and tireless work, it was reappraised at $202,000. 'I always would have done this project, but one of the big reasons that I'm willing to share it is simply because I think it is so important to showcase the counter-narrative to what small towns and post-industrial cities are,' Sweeny told DailyMail.com.
