They've gained a cult following in recent years thanks to their comfy design and bold colours. But it now seems Adidas Gazelles are firmly on their way back out of fashion. The suede shoes were the first trainer released by the German company back in 1966 and were made famous by Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger. Following the resurgence of Adidas' Superstars and Stan Smith designs, Gazelles' popularity among Gen Zs and millennials has sky-rocketed in recent years. However, stylist Lisa Talbot has noticed that the trainer's reign is coming to an end - and mummy bloggers and Labour leader Keir Starmer may to be blame. Ms Winkleman said she had wished to say goodbye to Radio 2 in order to spend more time with her children. Claudia Winkleman appears to be doting on a furrier family member in the form of a new puppy. In Belgravia, central London, the Strictly Come Dancing host, 51, was seen walking a black and tan King Charles spaniel. When she and her companion paid a visit to Le Wag's dog grooming salon, she wore a dark puffer jacket with Adidas pants and Stan Smith trainers. During her Bafta award acceptance address in May, Ms Winkleman made a public plea to film producer Kris Thykier. After thanking colleagues, she gestured to Thykier and said, 'Thank you to my husband Kris.' Please can we have a dog? That's in brackets.'
ALEXANDRA SHULMAN'S NOTEBOOK: Binge-drink tequila?I'll just stick to wine o'clock

ALEXANDRA SHULMAN: I'd choose either a nightly half-bottle of Chianti or a basin full of tequila once a week, so I know which I'd choose. The overwhelming truth is that alcohol is not healthy. I don't remember anyone binge-drinking when I was younger - people just drank. Everybody did. Whether it was a pint at the pub or a Moscow Mule in a cocktail bar, or even a bottle of plonk in the evening, having a drink was a normal thing and indulged in regularly.

STAN!' An older man on the Wimbledon concourse calls for the sight of a tall, well-dressed man in his 70s. He flows gracefully between the courts of All England Club, his face veiled beneath a Panama hat, blends in with the other patrons. They may be old friends. The gentleman is led by a security guard into a members-only zone before he takes the stairs. The sunlight catches Stan Smith branding on the back of his shoe, making it all make sense. I tell two coworkers that I have only seen Stan Smith. Their eyes light up for different reasons. 'No way, look, I'm wearing his trainers!' According to the younger of the two, who is in his twenties, the younger of the two boys is in his 20s. The older colleague in his 50s is struck by nostalgia, with his thoughts remonting to the day Smith defeated Ilie Nastase in the 1972 final.
