Ruth Castor (July 24, 1967 – June 11, 2016) was an American convicted murderer from Weedsport, New York.
In 2009, she was found guilty of intentionally poisoning her then-husband David Castor with antifreeze and 2005, when she attempted to murder her daughter, Ashley Wallace, with crushed pills mixed in with vodka, orange juice, and Sprite.
In addition, she is accused of murdering her first husband, Michael Wallace, in 2000; his body lay next to David Castor's before David's remains were discovered in 2016 and buried elsewhere by his son.
Castor was subsequently dubbed "The Black Widow" by media outlets, and the event made national news.

Early life
In 1985, Stacey, Jerry Daniels and Judie Eaton's daughter, met Michael Wallace, who became a fast friend. Ashley, the couple's first daughter, was born in 1988. Bree, the couple's second child, was born in 1991.
