Soh Chin Aun (born 28 July 1950) is a Malaysian national football player who played alongside the late Mokhtar Dahar and R. Arumugam.
He was affectionately known by his teammates and followers as Tauke or Towkay (English: Boss). He was the youngest member of the national team at the age of 21 in 1971, when he competed in the Olympic qualifier in Seoul, South Korea.
He appeared in the 1972 Munich Olympic Games and was captain of the qualification team for the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games.
Unfortunately, Malaysia did not participate in the 1980 Olympics.
However, by his contribution to Malaysia's 1980 Olympics, Ahli Mangku Negara was named by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong. His relationship with Santokh Singh was the most effective defense in the long-feared Malaysian team back then.

Club career
Soh began his football career with Malacca in 1969. He joined Selangor in 1971 and spent six Malaysia Cup titles before 1979. He resurfaced with Malacca in 1979 and captured the League Cup championship in 1983, but he was inactive for two years following a one-year suspension in 1985. He appeared in Malacca captain in 1988, which was also his last appearances in domestic league.
International career
Soh earned his full international caps for Malaysia at the 1969 King's Cup at the age of 19. He was the youngest member of the national team in 1971 when he participated in an Olympic qualifier in Seoul, South Korea, aged 21. He competed in the 1972 Munich Olympic Games and was the team's captain for the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games. Unfortunately, Malaysia did not participate in the protest of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. However, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong has given him the Ahli Mangku Negara for his contribution to Malaysia's qualification for the Olympics. He later appeared in the 1980 AFC Asian Cup, where his Malaysia was barred from the group stage, but Malaysia's Team put on an amazing tournament, allowing him to be named into the Team of the Tournament by the AFC, the first Southeast Asian to be named in the AFC's history; however, the team's first Southeast Asian to be named into the Team of the Tournament.
Soh is a member of the Malaysia Selection squad that played against Arsenal FC in a friendly match that his team beat by 2-0 at Merdeka Stadium on May 11, 1975.
Post-playing career
On March 13, 2007, he was named chairman of the referees' commission. He was the team manager (not head coach) of Malaysia's national football team from 2007 to 2009.
Political career
In 1986, he tried to make it in politics by running for Member of Parliament for Kota Melaka of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) of Barisan Nasional (BN), but he lost by 17,606 votes to the Democratic Action Party's Lim Guan Eng.
