Driving into Manchester United's Carrington training base under a microscope of scrutiny that has been present since he stepped into the role. But away from football, he also has to contend with being a dad. Admittedly, much of the recent criticism of the Dutchman has been fair with United enduring a miserable start to the new Premier League season, sitting in 13th position and with just two wins to their name. Consecutive 3-0 home hammerings against Liverpool and Tottenham, along with Thursday's chaotic 3-3 draw against Porto, have piled renewed pressure on Ten Hag ahead of Sunday's visit to high-flying Aston Villa that many believe could be his final game in charge if another heavy defeat follows.

Erik ten Hag's tenure at Manchester United hit a new low on Sunday as his side were thumped 3-0 by Tottenham.  The defeat has further ramped up the pressure on the Dutchman as United's difficult start to the season continued, with the Red Devils having lost three of their opening six Premier League games, while they also drew against FC Twente in the Europa League. Reports have claimed the Dutchman will at least be in charge for the next two games, and things aren't going to get much easier for Ten Hag with a brutal fixture list over the next month. 

The Brazilian has been one of the side's standout performers since his arrival last year. The combative midfielder featured 29 times in the Premier League for Nuno Espirito Santo 's team last term as they staved off the threat of relegation. This form has now seen the 23-year-old become of interest to at least two giants of European football, according to TNT Sports . In addition to the Red Devils, Serie A outfit AC Milan are also reportedly eyeing the Forest star. The outlet claim that Erik ten Hag 's side would have to stump up around £34million to secure his services this summer. And Forest would not be opposed to the sale of the player they purchased from Palmeiras for just £18m in January 2023.

Additionally, the 27-year-old has removed the Red Devils from his bio on social media following the end of his loan spell last term. The development comes after it was revealed earlier this month that the Moroccan remained as one of the midfielders listed on the club's 'players' section on their website.

The brother of Sofyan Amrabat has insisted that Casemiro wasn't injured for the FA Cup Final, but chose to sit it out after realising he wasn't starting the game. The Brazilian was omitted from Man United 's starting line-up for the season's showpiece, with Erik ten Hag claiming he was not 100 per cent fit for the match. In his absence, the Red Devils pulled off a surprise victory over their rivals Manchester City to win the trophy and book their place in Europe for next season. After the game it was reported that the midfield was hurt my Ten Hag's decision to axe him from the team and now, former Watford player Nordin Amrabat, brother of United's Sofyan has revealed Casemiro wasn't injured for the final. Speaking to Z Select, Nordin revealed that upon hearing the news that he wasn't part of the squad, Casemiro decided he would just sit in the stands and watch his teammates.

Expectations were high for the midfielder when he arrived at United but his form has been inconsistent, leading to doubts over whether United will trigger their buy option. 

Casemiro has withdrawn from Manchester United's FA Cup final squad after feeling muscle tightness during the warm-ups at Wembley. The Brazilian was named among the substitutes by Erik ten Hag on the teamsheet but United's club website had him absent, causing some confusion. The club later confirmed Casemiro had suffered an injury and wasn't able to figure in the match.

Bukayo Saka is out of Arsenal's final game of the Premier League season through injury. The winger was absent from the starting line-up for their crunch title showdown against Everton in a major blow for the Gunners. Saka hobbled off late on during Arsenal's clash against Man United last Sunday after a strong challenge from Sofyan Amrabat saw him tumble down the side of the pitch and into the advertising hoardings.

Bruno Guimaraes sent a cheeky tweet after Newcastle were denied a penalty during their Premier League trip to Manchester United on Wednesday night.   Anthony Gordon's sock was left torn after Sofyan Amrabat's first-half challenge in the penalty area, but there was no VAR check at Old Trafford. One Newcastle fan tweeted pictures of the incident, with the caption: '"Aye, didn't touch him ref"'.

Anthony Gordon has slammed VAR after the failure to give him a penalty in Newcastle's 3-2 defeat to Manchester United. Sofyan Amrabat caught Gordon on the back of his ankle, ripping his sock, inside the penalty area, though no spot-kick was awarded. Gordon refused to blame the referee for not giving a penalty but insisted he didn't understand the point of VAR.

There has not been too much to smile about for the home support this season, but United fans gave them a victory in the last match at Old Trafford this term.  The Red Devils finish off the league campaign with a trip to Brighton on Sunday, before playing rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup final the following week.

United faced one of the hardest games in the league on Sunday when they hosted title-chasing Arsenal at Old Trafford, and trailed early through Leandro Trossard's goal, which proved to be the winner. The Red Devils were hoping to bounce back from a 4-0 humiliation at Crystal Palace on Monday, but struggled again as pressure continued to mount on Erik ten Hag. The Dutchman did adopt a slightly different approach for the game, with Abrabat replacing Christian Eriksen in midfield and the hosts defending in a 4-4-2 shape rather than being more open.

Typically in this month of the year, Casemiro would compete in title deciders and look forward to another Champions League final. Such moments of wonder are now a distant memory for the Brazilian. His glories with Real Madrid must feel as though they belong to a different lifetime. Instead, one of the most gifted defensive midfielders of his generation finds himself lost in a dysfunctional Manchester United team being told by pundits to 'call it a day.'

In his first season as manager of Manchester United, he achieved a third-place finish and delivering the Carabao Cup, as well as winning the FA Cup final. This time round, it has been much more sobering, with United expected to miss out on the Champions League due to a record number of league losses to their name. Following their minority takeover, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos have taken over football operations at Old Trafford, and the pair has made a decision on how they move forward, not least with the man they want to lead their quest for glory.

Ten Hag, who is under increased strain after losing points cut United further adrift of the Champions League positions, was seen stopping for several handshakes as he walked behind a table lined with a variety of dishes. As he walked down and obviously stopped for every individual to share a few words with them, a smiling Ten Hag was heard saying, 'Have a good meal.' The meal is uncertain when it was held, but it is believed to have occurred in the aftermath of United's last-gasp setback at the Gtech Community Stadium. Iftar is the fast-breaking evening meal Muslims eat every day during Ramadan at sunset. It's significant because it comes after a full day of fasting.
