Jasmine Jobson was the star of Sunday night's BAFTAs, claiming the coveted Best Supporting Actress award for her role as Jacqueline Lawrence in Netflix 's Top Boy. Jasmine, 29, was the surprise success story of the evening, fighting off competition from the likes of Elizabeth Debicki (The Crown), Harriet Walter (Succession) and Siobhan Finneran (' Happy Valley '). The 2024 BAFTA TV Awards saw a slew of stars awarded with prestigious prizes at The Royal Festival Hall in London on Sunday night. But the ceremony itself failed to come out on top in the battle of the ratings, as it was only the fifth most watched programme of the night. According to overnight reports, the star-studded show - which aired on BBC One - had an average audience of 2.6 million and peaked slightly higher, at 3 million - the lowest in two years.
