You might not want to wear jeans to a wedding - but apart from that there's otherwise now a pair for every occasion. You can wear loose fit, wide jeans with a turtleneck to the office, or with slick, tailored kick flares and a velvet jacket you're cocktail party ready. It's hard to say what clothes will make you look ten years older, and what will shave off the years. Sorry to say, it's a constantly shifting gauge and you need to keep checking in the mirror every season. Let's cut to the chase. The trends for autumn/winter 2024 are pleasingly grown-up and woman friendly. Tailoring - a woman's best friend - dominated the catwalks. Heels have come right down and it's all about flats or little kitten heels. Necklines have risen to collar bone covering or chin grazing. For the first time in a long time a tailored skirt suit looks like something you might wear to the office and Pretty, Prim and Proper feel like three words we could do business with.
