But umpire Doug Eddings deemed the pitch to be outside - and was incensed with Skenes stepping off the mound - which he angrily told Pirates manager Derek Shelton.

A car engulfed in flames next to the Seattle Mariners' T-Mobile Park caused a smoky fog to drift across the stadium on Saturday night. Their game against the Chicago Cubs was in the bottom of the fifth innings when TV cameras cut away from the game to a burning vehicle on a freeway close to the stadium. Smoke from the fire, north of the stadium, was billowing into the ballpark and became extremely visible on the broadcast.
