A vegan lasagne was ordered onboard by a Ryanair passenger as the'soggiest, saddest, grayest-looking mush'

After seeing delectable-looking pictures of the £5.20 vegan veggie dish on the menu, Sarah Wilson ordered the meal on a flight from Vienna to Bristol earlier this month. A photograph of a golden-topped lasagne with melted cheese and stuffed with seasoned vegetables is included in the food menu (left). However, the charity worker from Bideford, North Devon, was unable to believe her eyes when she was handed a black, slimy dish (right) that looked nothing like its advert. The meal seemed more like cracked white paint than the tantalizing, brown lasagne that she had longed for. She immediately ordered the dish back and be heated properly, but she was immediately served a completely new lasagne, which was just as disappointing. The lasagne, although slightly beige in color, looked nothing like what was on the glossy images, and Sarah was told not to eat her food entirely.
