Swimmer Tom Dean took the spotlight alongside his teammates at the Olympics after winning gold in the Men's Freestyle Relay on Wednesday. And the athlete, 24, already his eyes on the next challenge as he has reportedly signed up to Strictly Come Dancing.  Tom, who is also known by fans as 'Deano', will swap the swimming for sequins to take part in the 20th anniversary show after his Paris triumph. 

Olympic swimmer Tom Dean has reportedly become the latest star to sign up for the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.  The 24 -year-old was part of the British relay team who won the gold in the 4x200 men's freestyle at the Olympics in Paris on Tuesday. According to The Sun, the swimmer will be heading straight into rehearsals for the BBC show as soon as he is back in London.    

Strictly Come Dancing has reportedly signed up Giovanni Pernice's ex Tasha Ghouri for the scandal-plagued show's new series.  The Love Island star, 25, who found fame on the ITV2 series in 2022, enjoyed a number secret dates with Italian pro, 33, just months before entering the villa.  Tasha is also a trained dancer and disability campaigner after being born deaf and fitted with cochlear implants aged five, with bosses said to believe she'd be a 'top draw' for viewers.

Nan, Me & Barbara Pravi, a multi-award-winning actress and playwright, was at Cairns, a multi-awarded actress and playwright. Hannah Maxwell, the play's solo actress, revealed that she was left 'an utter puddle of a person,' by Phoebe's sponsorship as she posted a snapshot of herself with the symbol on Twitter.

After being left in tears earlier this week, comedians including Sarah Millican, Jason Manford, and Dara Briain all supported Actor and writer Georgie Grier. Ms Grier's article, which was aimed at gaining support within the Fringe community, attracted international attention, and just 24 hours after the one-person audience, the venue staging her performance sold out. However, social media users have since reported that Ms Grier appeared at the Fringe last year and shared a similar story about poor audience participation.

For her appearance this afternoon, she sold around 32 seats out of a total of 40 for her £11-a-ticket. Before going into her performance, she seemed thrilled and said, "Hello Wembley."
