According to a newspaper, investigators dropped charges against Adnan Syed in the 1999 murder of Hae Min Lee, a murder trial that revolutionized the game. Syed was released by a Baltimore judge last month after his conviction was reversed. Prosecutors had been debating whether or not to retry the lawsuit. A hearing on dismissing the charges was not docketed in court records, according to the Baltimore Sun on Tuesday. Prosecutors dropped the charges, according to defense counsel Erica Suter, who also stated that the investigation was not investigated.
