Sarah Harding's mum Marie gave an emotional speech as she unveiled a plaque to commemorate the life of the Girls Aloud singer in her home town of Stockport on Sunday. The tribute to Sarah, who tragically died aged 39 in 2021 after battling breast cancer, was revealed alongside a stunning pink mural of the late singer.  The plaque, which was unveiled after a fundraising walk, is to mark the legacy of Sarah's life which is helping save young women's lives. 

The singer, 42, told MailOnline she would have never agreed to perform again with co-stars Cheryl, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts a decade ago but is relieved she took a chance on their 32-date reunion. Mother-of-three Kimberley says the experience of performing their hits to sold out arenas was a 'privilege' - and she refuses to rule out going on the road and doing it all again. Nadine Coyle has been forced to pull out of gig after 'exhaustion' following Girls Aloud nationwide tour. A body language expert declared Girls Aloud 'stronger than ever', despite slashing ticket prices by up to 60%, as they performed their final London show on Thursday. Some fans who shelled over £100 to see the girls have been angered to see tickets now on sale for just £30. However, speaking on behalf of Betfair Roulette, body language expert Darren Stanton declared that Girls Aloud has 'found their feet'.

Girls Aloud fans are up in arms as they are yet to receive tickets for the band's Birmingham show, which is just hours away.  Those who had paid to see the noughties girlband's reunion tour gig at the Resorts World Arena on Tuesday night flooded X, formerly Twitter, asking what to do as they arrived in the city.  Many desperate fans hit out at provider Ticketek, describing it as the 'most stressful experience' after waiting in all day in the hope their tickets would arrive on time. 

Kelly Bawcombe, from Watford in Hertfordshire, was clueless about her disease until she discovered a grape-sized lump in her armpit while showering one evening in March. But the 39-year-old believed the mass was just a sign of her being 'under the weather'. Instead she took vitamins in an effort to boost her immune system. It was only after the lump grew to the size of a golf ball just two weeks later that she visited her GP. Scans later revealed she had triple negative breast cancer that had spread to her bones and liver, meaning it was stage four - like Girls Aloud 's Sarah Harding .

Around 100 younger people a day - 35,000 a year - are being diagnosed with rising numbers of cancers commonly seen in older people, such a bowel, breast and stomach. Scientists believe the 'disturbing' trend may have a link to people eating too much ultra-processed food. Rising cases of bowel cancer, for example, may have an association with changes to the gut microbiome reducing the body's ability to deal with pre-cancerous cells, according to research presented at the world's biggest cancer conference.

And the way she moved, like everything! If I need to feel Sarah that's what I watch.'

Thanks to technology, images of Sarah were beamed on to a screen behind them - and together they all sang their cover of I'll Stand By You, which became their second number one, in 2004. Sarah's vocals were used and Nadine Coyle , Cheryl Tweedy , Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh sang along with her. As they began, Nadine said: 'We're going to do a duet with Sarah tonight. It's going to be us, Sarah, you. Let's do this together.'
