According to the Fed, dockworkers in Los Angeles claimed more than $2.1 million in fraudulent health insurance payments that in fact went to strippers in order to perform sex acts on them. Sara Victoria and another woman have been charged with federal charges in connection with the fraud, including eight employees at the Port of Long Beach (pictured). Victoria, 46, of San Pedro, was charged on Wednesday with one count of conspiracy to commit health care fraud and one count of aggravated identity theft. Victoria's plea agreement, which was signed between January 2017 and August 2021, she owned and operated three healthcare clinics that provided patients with chiropractic services, acupuncture treatments, and even sexual assistance. Victoria is accused of conspiring with the dockworkers because she knew that their health insurance policy paid for all chiropractic services without regard to deductible or out-of-pocket expenditures. Victoria scoured Long Beach strip clubs for women to find sex acts for the dockworkers, who were later reimbursed for chiropractic services and physical therapy from fraudulent invoices.
