Bec Mullen (inset) was supposed to be planning her wedding but she was greeted by friends and relatives almost three weeks after she was killed in the horrific Hunter Valley bus accident. Ms Mullen's bereaved fiancé Sam Howard's funeral request was told to wear bright colors and florals for the young doctor's funeral, with many likely wearing the same outfits she would have wore for her nuptials. On June 11, Ms Mullen was one of ten people killed when a bus carrying thirty-five wedding guests rolled to Greta, in the NSW Hunter Region's worst road accident in three decades. When the bus crashed in a 40-kilometer/h speed zone, the victims had just watched their friends, Maddy Edsell and Mitchell Gaffney marry at the Wandin Estate winery in Lovedale and were being taken to their accommodation in nearby Singleton. Ms Mullen's emotional farewell is the second funeral to be held for the crash victims.

On Monday, the first of the ten Hunter Valley wedding bush accident victims was released to rest. On the NSW South Coast, family and friends gathered to say goodbye to Angus Craig at Worrigee. Bella Liddy, who was riding with him on the bus at the time of the disaster, was one of them. Mr Craig was a close friend of Mitchell Gaffney, whose wedding took place prior to the bus accident.

A heartbroken fiancé has paid tribute to his wife-to-be whose body has yet to be recovered from the Hunter Valley wedding bus accident. As expectations faded for her and police and authorities included Bec Mullen in a list of names that were supposed to have died in the crash, Sam Howard, a footy teammate of groom Mitchell Gaffney, shared a snapshot of himself overnight. Hundreds of well-wishers and friends left messages for the deceased Hunter Valley man, "I'm just so sorry for your loss," says the narrator.
