Sabine Moussier Life

Personal life

Moussier began dating Rodrigo Santos in 1999, and although they married together in 2002, the pair split in 2002 after two-and-a-half years together. Moussier's cousin, Jorge Pereza, and the couple's niece, Camila Perez, were born in Mexico City on July 15, 2003. They later welcomed their son, Paulo Perpeta Moussier, on July 3, 2006. Moussier and Perpeta officially announced their divorce in January 2008, a month later on February 19. Despite Moussier's frequent mention of Perpeta as her husband, Perpeta's wife was never engaged, according to gossip magazine TVnotas because Moussier and Perpeta had been cohabiting for more than five years and had children together. They were still required to officially divorce under the Mexican Constitution. Moussier began dating a young man named Juan shortly after breaking up with Perpetu, but their relationship ended in 2009.

In April 2009, Moussier became involved in a public and lengthy war of words with fellow actress Sherlyn, alleging him of defrauding her of MXN$2 million when they were dating. When the younger actress did not immediately dismiss the charges against Perpeta, Moussier paid Perpeta's debt and then publicly condemned Sherlyn. Perona was eventually released from jail on May 14, but Moussier accused Sherlyn of breaching the non-aggression agreement and threatened to disclose information that would ruin Sherlyn's career. Following a phone call and then a truce, the two actresses eventually came to an understanding.

Moussier developed Guillain-Barré syndrome in late 2009 and was forced to change her shooting schedule on Mi pecado to promote her recovery. Moussier's illness, according to Juan Osorio, spread from her spinal cord to her brain, impairing her ability to recall her lines and causing such pain that doctors were obliged to put her under sedation. In addition, he said that Moussier could be left paralyzed as a result of the illness. Moussier was forced to leave the cast of Mi pecado shortly after filming was finished due to her worsening health. Although Moussier's health was improving and that she would not be left paralyzed, she maintained that Guillain-Barré "is an illness that requires months [from which to recover]." Although she had recovered from Guillain-Barre by March 2010, her recovery was made more difficult by a diagnosis of chronic fatigue syndrome.

Eva, despite her sinister deeds, became a common character on television, with viewers who viewed her more favorably than series heroine Azul (Karyme Lozano) and mourning her death. Eva Moussier was selected for Best Actress in her antagonistic role at the 2007 Premios TVyNovelas. She briefly returned to La madrastra's cast and took up Fabiola's role in order to re-film the last ten episodes of the telenovela, which was being re-aired at the time, as well as provide a new explanation of the murder mystery. However, much to Moussier's dismay, Moussier replaced Edith González as the protagonist in the film Aventurera, although she reformed the cast a few months later due to a leg injury.

In 2009, Moussier starred in Mi pecado as the seductive, social climber Justina Almada de Huerta. Moussier was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome during Mi pecado's filming.
