Ruth Langsford (born 17 March 1960 in Singapore) is an English television presenter on shows including This Morning, Gift Wrapped, and How the Other Half Lives. Langsford is a reporter on ITV's lunchtime chat show Loose Women and Women, as well as Ruth Langsford's Fashion Edit on QVC.

Early life
Ruth Langsford was born in Singapore, to Dennis and Joan Langsford. She lived in five countries before ten years, including West Germany and four countries in North Africa. Langsford attended Saltash School in Cornwall from 1977 to 1978.
Personal life
Langsford began dating Eamonn Holmes in 1996, but the two kept their relationship private for years out of respect for Holmes' first wife, Gabrielle, who was then divorced at the time. Langsford's son, Jack Alexander Holmes, was born in 2002. They were married on June 26, 2010.
Career
Langsford began her work as a continuity announcer and newscaster with ITV's regional station Television South West (TSW) in Plymouth, England. On January 1, 1993, she left TSW when Westcountry Television took over the company, closing the station with fellow announcer Ian Stirling.
Langsford appeared on ITV's daytime chat show Loose Women from 1999 to 2002. She returned to the show in 2010 as a stand-in anchor until 2013. Langsford returned to Loose Women on January 8th, 2014 as a regular anchor. Jane Moore, Charlene White, Christine Lampard, and Kaye Adams lead the show in rotation.
Langsford began as a guest host on This Morning in 2000 and was named as a regular host in 2006, making her the longest serving host of the program. Eamonn Holmes, a co-host with Langsford, will appear on the show later this year.
