Art Jimmerson, a former boxer who fought in the first ever UFC event, has died at age 61. His family announced his death on social media on Thursday and confirmed the passing in a statement to DailyMail.com.  Jimmerson famously only wore one glove when he fought and spoke to Mail Sport back in November for the 30-year anniversary of UFC's first ever event, staged in November 1993.

Royce Gracie, the UFC legend, is said to have won the right to tell his own life story on film as part of his long divorce from ex-wife Marianne Cuttic. Gracie will also be able to keep all of his MMA gear, as well as any footage of his fights, according to The Blast. Gracie, a member of the legendary family that spread Brazilian jiu-jitsu around the world, reigned supreme at UFC 1, UFC 2 and UFC 4.
