Wilfried Gnonto's £15 million bid was turned down by Leeds. The Toffees piqued their curiosity in the dynamic Italian winger, but the Yorkshire side, who also informed Everton that they have no intention in selling, quickly dismissed them. Leeds also lost a number of players from the squad's relegation to the Championship, including Rodrigo, Robin Koch, Diego Llorente, Brenden Aaronson, Rasmus Kristensen, and Weston McKennie.

Rasmus Kristensen, a Leeds defender, has joined Roma on a season-long loan. The 26-year-old Denmark defender joined Leeds 12 months ago and appeared 30 times last season, scoring three goals. Kristensen joins Diego Llorente for a loan transfer to Stadio Olimpico in the summer, when Rodrigo, Robin Koch, and Brenden Aaronson have all left the club.

In the Premier League last season, the 32-year-old was the top scorer for Leeds, scoring 12 times, but it is unlikely that he will be able to return to the Championship with the team. In 2020, he joined the club from Valencia for £26 million, and was seen as a marquee signing to push the team forward in the Premier League. The Spaniard played 28 goals for Leeds over the past three years, but he never really established a starting position and didn't do enough to assist them in recovering from relegation from the Premier League last season.
PLAYER RATINGS: Joao Felix impresses again as Wesley Fofana grabs the winner

The Blues had only scored once in their previous six games going into the match against Javi Gracia's side, but Wesley Fofana's goal eight minutes after the restart ensured the tension was lifted a little. Stamford Bridge demonstrated more warmth to Potter and his team than in recent times. Leeds, meanwhile, was further thrown into disarray due to the fact that the team was ranked 17th, just one point behind Everton in 18th.
Diego Llorente, a Leeds defender, has joined Roma on loan with the option to buy for £18 million

Diego Llorente (pictured), Leeds' defender, has joined Roma on loan until the end of the season in the hopes of a permanent transfer. Last month, the 29-year-old center-half signed a three-and-a-half year contract extension with the club, but has been unable to convince head coach Jesse Marsch's starting lineup. Leeds said, 'He has been banned to just 13 appearances in all competitions, falling behind Liam Cooper, Robin Koch, and new recruit Max Wober in the defensive pecking order.'
World Cup: Can Germany avenge their 6-0 loss to Spain in Qatar?
www.dailymail.co.uk,

At an international level, not many teams can beat Germany. However, Spain has a history of doing exactly as a result of the last two decades. Spain has come out on top four times in the last seven meetings between the two teams, losing only once. Spain has defeated their opponents in the Euro 2008 final and the 2010 World Cup semi-finals in South Africa during this time. Matches have often been decided by the unexpected result, with little to distinguish the European giants. That's until Spain's last game in the Nations League in November 2020, when they defeated Spain 6-0 in a thrillingly one-sided match.
Leeds 2-3 Fulham: Cottagers complete turnaround as Jesse Marsch is booed off at Elland Road

IAN LADYMAN AT ELLAND ROAD: Fulham made a bounce back against Leeds at Elland Road on Saturday to continue their good start to the Premier League season. In the 14th minute, the tourists had the lead, but Harrison Reed's goalbound effort was ruled off the track by Robin Koch. Rodrigo put Leeds ahead six minutes later when he headed home a loose ball to get the Elland road audience roaring. However, it soon sank as Aleksandar Mitrovic dropped the points in the 26th minute by heading past Ilan Meslier. In the 37th minute, the Leeds goalkeeper was to deny Andreas Perpeta from leading the visitors.
