UFC legend Nick Diaz (left) will return to the octagon for the first time in nearly three years after being named as a co-main event by company president Dana White in Abu Dhabi. Diaz hasn't fought since 2021 when heĀ  was knocked out by Robbie Lawler at a time when he was already believed to be past his prime. However, the 40-year-old fighter will have a chance to reignite his career when he takes onĀ Vicente Luque (right) in a five-round co-main event.

Nate Diaz and his brother, Nick, were caught sparring inside a Starbucks coffee shop ahead of Nate's match against Khamzaev in the main event of UFC 279. As his brother, 39, who has not fought since his TKO loss to Robbie Lawler in September last year, the current UFC fighter, 37, can be seen swinging a few punches. One of Diaz' entourage is wearing a 'Team Diaz' cap,' so people are enjoying a cup of coffee.
