Frank Farian, the legendary German music producer, died at the age of 82, according to his representatives. Farian is best known for his boney M in the 1970s, where he was primarily responsible for hits including Daddy Cool, Rasputin, and Brown Girl in the Ring. Leonine Studios unveiled the first two stills from Girl You Know It's True, filmmaker Simon Verhoeven's (Nightlife, Welcome to Germany) biopic on Milli Vanilli, the scandalous eighties pair. Both of the actors are essentially newcomers with French actor Elan Ben Ali (Goutte d'or) playing Fab Morvan. Tijan Njie (Alles was counted) plays the late Rob Pilatus in the film, which will be available in Munich, Berlin, Capetown, and Los Angeles.
