In a series of cancelled shows in recent weeks, CBS has scrapped East New York's gritty police drama East New York. The New York Police's 74th precinct in Brooklyn has opted not to air the show. Regina Haywood, a newly promoted commanding officer, leads the precinct.

Joaquin Phoenix and Robert Pattinson got off to a good start this weekend by attending Beau Is Afraid's premiere in New York. Tempe, 48, who just wrapped film on Joker: Folie a Deux, joined writer-director Ari Aster and co-stars Richard Kind, Stephen Mckinley Henderson, Armen Nahapetian, Kylie Rogers, and Julia Antonell on the red carpet. Pattinson, 36, does not appear in the forthcoming film, which is set to be out on April 21, but he was caught on the red carpet posing with Aster.
