Personal life
Bull was born in Zion, Illinois, on June 26, 1924. After years of being homeless in Los Angeles, he and his partner Barbara Collentine married in 1994 in Chicago. In September 2012, the couple returned to the Motion Picture & Television Fund House from Chicago.
Bulls are liable to behaving by accident. “I never gave much thought to becoming an actor.” As a senior in high school, I chose to study music, but a buddy suggested we attend the Goodman Theater School. When he was released in 1946, he resumed his acting studies at Goodman after he was kicked out for two weeks.
Career
Bull began his stage career at Chicago's historic Goodman Theatre. "A two-line role in The Greatest Story Ever Told "opened a lot of doors," he said. Bull's emoting was praised, and that "led directly to the position of an FBI agent in The Satan Bug," Bull said.
He has appeared in more than 100 film and television appearances.
