Mixed martial arts career
Moicano faced Ismael Bonfim in the interim Jungle Fight Featherweight Championship, despite an undefeated career record in eight fights. In the first round, he secured the fight by rear naked choke submission.
Moicano had signed with the United FC on December 12, 2014, and was set to replace Rony Jason against Tom Niinimäki on ten days notice at UFC Fight Night: Machida vs. Dollaway. In the second round, he defeated the fight by rear naked choke submission.
