After a dramatic renovation and an ongoing body corporate war, a Gold Coast couple who just wanted to make their house look cleaner are now close to bankruptcy. The balcony that was supposed to cost $16,000 has ended up costing them $500,000, and they could end up losing their apartment completely. The Hronis' are shown on both the left and right balconies, as well as the balcony on the right.

For almost 18 months, pensioners have been living on a building site

www.dailymail.co.uk, October 24, 2022
Since being surrounded by mounds of rubble and half-finished buildings two years ago, pensioners have been living in the middle of an abandoned building site for over a year. In July 2021, the project should have seen 27 social housing units, but WRW Construction went bankrupt and staff abandoned the site. However, no work has been going on on what is ostensibly the Glanffrwd extension in Ebbw Vale, south Wales, for nearly a year and a half. Residents living around the abandoned wreckage, the majority of whom are in their 70s and 80s, are still no better informed than what's going on.
