According to Tennessean, the criminal case was closed and Weaver's trial, which was supposed to commence on Tuesday, was postponed. The accusation was linked to an incident that occurred outside a bar in Pittsburgh in April 2021. A woman told police that Weaver 'grabbed her by the throat and pushed her to the ground, where she eventually struck her head.' According to at least one witness, Weaver struck the woman. Another witness said she saw the woman fall but didn't know what caused it.

After the sickening crash Monday night, Buffalo Bills cornerback Dane Jackson has been released from hospital and is at home recovering. During the Bills' 41-7 win over the Tennessee Titans, Jackson's head and neck bent back in a scary encounter with a colleague. He was admitted to the nearby Erie County Medical Center for testing, but he was released after it was determined there was no significant injury to his neck or spinal cord. Jackson has been allowed home, according to the Bills, but a new investigation is underway Tuesday morning.
