Raphael Sbarge Life

Raphael Sbarge (born February 12, 1965) is an American actor, director, and producer.

In the Mass Effect trilogy, he is best known for his role as Archie Hopper/Jiminy Cricket's Once Upon a Time and Kaidan Alenko.

Inspector David Molk appeared in the TNT series Murder in the First from 2014 to 2016.

In the video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and its sequel, he is also known for portraying Carth Onasi.

Early life

Raphael Sbarge was born in New York City to a theatre-oriented family. Jeanne Button (1930-2017), his mother, was a costume designer. Stephen Sbarge, his father, was an artist, writer, and stage director who named his son after Renaissance artist Raphael. His parents divorced. MacDonald Eaton (1929-2013), a production designer and painter, was his mother's mother from 1981 to 2013. She was also known as Mrs. Button-Eaton in her private life. Raphael Sbarge began his career on Sesame Street at the age of 5.

Career

In 1973, Sbarge made his stage debut in Edward Bond's Lear's stage performance. In 1981, the actor appeared in Joseph Papp's Shakespeare in Henry IV, Part 1. He made his Broadway debut opposite Faye Dunaway in the short-lived play The Curse of an Aching Heart the following year. Hamlet (1982), Ah, Wilderness, and other New York stage credits include Hamlet (1982). Ghosts (1988), Ghosts (1988), The Twilight of the Golds (1993), The Shadow Box (1993), and Voices in the Dark (1999).

Sbarge's film credits include Risky Business (1983), Vision Quest (1985), My Man Adam (1993), Carnosaur (1994), Message in a Bottle (1996), Pearl Harbor (2001), and The Duel (2015).

Sbarge appeared in numerous television series and television films, including A Streetcar Named Desire with Ann-Margret in 1984; Back to Hannibal: Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn's return in 1990; and finally a look at Dorothy Dandridge with Halle Berry in 1999.

In five episodes of Star Trek: Voyager in 1996 and in the first four episodes of the sixth season of 24. Sbarge appeared on The Guardian from 2001 to 2004, starring Simon Baker. In the second season of Avatar: The Library, he played Professor Zei. He was in a episode of Six Feet Under. In 2007, he appeared in a two-part episode of Journeyman. He appeared in a episode of The Mentalist in 2009. Jim McCourt, an Internal Affairs Agent, appeared on "Practically Fine" in 2010, a season five episode of Dexter.

Howard Aucker appeared on The Young and the Restless in a recurring role. On Better Days, Brian McGuire appeared on television for five weeks before being canceled. In 2011, he first appeared in Once Upon a Time, a psychiatrist and Pinocchio's fairy tale counterpart, Jiminy Cricket. Larry Hermann appeared on Chicago Fire in 2013. On TNT's 2014 film Murder in the First, he played Inspector David Molk, a philosophic SFPD murder examiner. He made a cameo appearance on the television show Better Call Saul in 2016, as Jimmy McGill's deceased father.

He has appeared in games such as Grim Fandango, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and Knights of the Old Republic II. The Sith Lords are also voiced in Star Wars: Republic Commando as RC-1262 "Scorch" in Star Wars: Republic Commando; and as Kaidan Alenko in the Mass Effect series.

Sbarge began directing Web series in 2013 and spent time as executive producer and producer of On Begley Street and Jenna's Studio. At the Asians on Film Festival in 2017, his short film The Bird Who Could Fly premiered.

The 2019 documentary by Sbarge in the Education/Information segment had been nominated for an Emmy Award.
