Veteran wide receiver Randall Cobb said he and his family are lucky to be alive after surviving a savage house fire that engulfed the NFL star's Nashville home. He shared several photos and videos of the property on social media Wednesday, after a Tesla charger that was inside their garage caught fire.  'First and foremost, we are all safe and healthy,' Cobb said in an Instagram post. 'We got out of the house and I was able to go back in and get our dog, Louie.' 

New York Jets wide receiver Randall Cobb will be looking for a new home after his house caught on fire. According to an Instagram post from his wife, Aiyda, a faulty Tesla charger is to blame.  'We are lucky to be alive. The Tesla charger caught on fire in the garage late last night and quickly spread,' Aiyda posted on her story.

Randall Cobb, the New York Jets wide receiver, has been suspended $13,889 for an unlawful assault on New York Giants cornerback Bobby McCain during a preseason game last week. After New York quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed a pass to tight end Tyler Conklin, Cobb connected with McCain on a blindside block. After the batter that earned Cobb a penalty, McCain initiated concussion procedures, earning him a point. Following Cobb's injury, Rodgers and Giants linebacker Jihad Ward, who shoved Rodgers a few plays after Cobb's injury, caused an on-field rift.

After the quarterback and his coworker Randall Cobb booed one of his fellow Giants, Aaron Rodgers accused Jihad Ward of'making s**t up,' he said. In the Jets' 32-24 preseason victory over their New York neighbors, Cobb put a blindside block on Bobby McCain, leaving the cornerback concussed. Ward, who clashed with Rodgers during the game, later said that Rodgers and Cobb's yelling of McCain had angered him. But Rodgers denied it.

Aaron Rodgers will be welcoming yet another Green Bay opponent to the Jets after joining ex-Packers Allen Lazard in New York. According to ESPN, the team will sign wide receiver Randall Cobb to a one-year contract, reuniting Rodgers with one of his top targets from his 18 seasons with the Packers. Cobb and Rodgers have been playing together for ten years in two seasons since being in Green Bay from 2011-18 before returning to 2021 for two years with the Texans and Cowboys.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Jets are trying to find an understanding with the Packers' free agent with another unidentified team. In addition, Schefter has reported that Gang Green are targeting another of Rodgers' current wide receivers in veteran Cobb. Since the Jets also look to complete a trade for four-time MVP Rodgers, it could lead to a reunion at the MetLife Stadium.
