Justin Gaethje expects to retire from MMA in the next three years and is aware that receiving a punishment for too long. But the epic battles will begin to take their toll, and Gaethje is fully aware that going into his thirties will pose long-term damage. 'It's just the fact of the matter that I would say, by 37, I would not be doing this anymore,' he told MMA Fighting.' I'm 34 years old now. Two to three years is a long time, but in the grand scheme of things, it isn't that long.'

Rafael Fiziev says he is close to securing a big fight with top lightweight Justin Gaethje later this year. The rising star of Azerbaijan is now ranked No. 6 in the division, three spots below 'The Highlight,', who hasn't fought since losing to Charles Oliveira last year. According to Fiziev, the UFC is fighting the fight, and it could happen as soon as March. 'I'm not announcing anything, but the UFC has told us that I'll be fighting Justin Gaethje in March.'
