He continued, 'And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger; those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.' Basically, Jackson's Jules Winnfield uses the fictional Bible verse Ezekiel 25:17 as a way to justify his violent actions as a kind of 'enforcer' before delivering justice against those who deserve punishment.
