Patricia "Pat" Stanley (born April 12, 1931, Cincinnati, Ohio) is a retired American actress, dancer, and singer.

Personal life

Stanley married composer Johnny Burke and later to writer William Hanley (died May 25, 2012), with whom she had two children, Nell and Katherine. Both marriages ended in divorce. She has three grandchildren.

Since 1980, she had been married to third husband, actress, and artist Gerry Matthews. She lives in Walla Walla, Washington, in retirement.

Career

Stanley was awarded the Tony Award in the category of Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical for her appearances as "Lois Lee" in the musical Goldilocks in 1958-1959. In 1962, she was nominated for the Best Featured Actress in a Play for her role as "Eileen Taylor" in Sunday in New York.

She appeared on prime time television on Breslin's Neighborhood, Thieves Carnival (1959), Omnibus (1958), The Ed Sullivan Show (1955), and A George Abbott Special (1955). She has appeared on daytime television as Mrs. Goodman #2 on The Edge of Night in 1982 and 1983. She appeared in the Jerry Lewis film The Ladies Man (1961) (1961).
