Staff in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, visited Caernarvon Road last week, but they only filled up a small stretch of potholes, up to 5 inches (19in) in height. Residents claim that the council told them they only had enough money in the kitty to fill the tiny gap. A council spokesperson confirmed that they were making the "most use of our planned funds," and that the remainder would be completed in the "next financial year."
