In a chaotic episode, Mike was the latest baker to be eliminated from the competition.  After a difficult time during Caramel Week, the farmer fell at the final hurdle after his caramel cake was deemed closer to a tiramisu by the judges.  Inspired by his boyfriend's favourite cinema and and the baking star's favourite cocktail, Mike created a salted coffee caramel-inspired creation which saw several coffee-flavoured cake layers smeared with caramel mousse.

Sandi Toksvig has revealed why she walked away from the 'biggest pay cheque of her life' hosting The Great British Bake Off. The TV star, 66, was a co-presenter of the show from 2017 to 2020 where she hosted alongside comedian Noel Fielding.  In 2020, she stepped down and was replaced by comedian Matt Lucas. Matt has since been replaced by This Morning's Alison Hammond.

The student-to-be, who is taking to the tent amid her gap year, replicates her pet duck Pato as she bakes an orange and balsamic strawberry cake. 'My cake is my pet duck,' she tells presenter Noel Fielding . 'We hatched him from an egg in like 2018. He goes missing sometimes, if he's ever missing contact me!'

Fans posted pictures of their 'ticket stations' using an army of laptops, iPads and mobiles in a bid to increase their chances of getting a highly sought-after ticket. But as tickets went on sale, thousands have been left 'devastated' after being unable to access Ticketmaster, Gigs and Tours and SeeTickets. Some were forced into a queue just to join the waiting room, while others reported getting kicked out of the ticket sales websites as they got to the front.

Oasis reunion tour tickets have now officially gone on sale for all 17 shows in the UK and Ireland but thousands are distraught as the website crashes. Never Mind the Buzzcocks is set to return for a fourth series later this year on Sky Max - but Daisy May Cooper is taking a step back from being a team captain.  The music-themed quiz will see actor and comedian Greg Davies return as host with team captains, Noel Fielding and regular panelist, Jamali Maddix also set to return. However Daisy will be replaced by Sophie Willan on the show until the This Country actress returns for the Christmas Special

In the process, it has turned its creator into one of the richest men in the business. Last year Horne earned £7.5 million from his production company Shakey - an increase of £2 million on the previous year.
