Noah Munck (born May 3, 1996) is an American actor, comedian, YouTube personality, and music producer best known for his roles as Gibby in the ABC comedy series The Goldbergs, as well as as as Bobby Sinclair, the junior lawnmowing entrepreneur in the TruGreen commercials.

He also produces electronic music under the alias Noxik and creates independent comedy videos on YouTube.

Early life

Munck was born and raised in Mission Viejo, California, California. He is the oldest of five children of Kymbry (née Robinson) and Greg Munck, an executive pastor at Crossline Community Church in Laguna Hills. When filming for iCarly', he was involved in his school drama program. In five episodes of iCarly, one of his brothers, Ethan Munck, appeared as Gibby's 8-year-old brother Guppy. Munck was accepted and began attending Biola University as a cinema and media arts major in fall 2014.

Career

Munck began a recurring role on Nickelodeon's television series iCarly as Gibby, one of Carly, Sam, and Freddie's relatives. Munck was promoted to a regular cast member from the fourth season onwards in 2010. He was nominated for the "Favorite TV Sidekick" award at the Kids' Choice Awards in 2011.

In 2013, a TV series called Gibby, a spin-off of iCarly in which Munck would appear, was proposed. Gibby, the actor, was assisting four middle-school students at a recreation center where he mentors four middle-schoolers. While Munck revived Gibby's role in the spin-off series Sam & Cat in 2014, the series "#SuperPsycho" was not picked up, the series was not picked up. Munck did not return to reprise his role in the 2021 revival film. In one episode of the revival series, his brother Ethan reprised his role as Guppy.

The Munck brand NoxiK also makes electronic dance music. On January 20, 2012, he performed his first song, "Beginnings." Since then, he began posting songs he created on his YouTube page. On April 23, 2013, he released a small EP titled Hotline. On December 21, 2013, NoxiK released a single titled "Killjoy" on SoundCloud and YouTube. EDM.com re-posted it on SoundCloud, making it one of his most popular singles to date. On March 24, 2014, he revealed Road Warrior, his first official EP. The scheme has been inactive as of October 2017. However, he has posted music from his SoundCloud account named SADWORLDBEATS, and has also posted videos on YouTube.

Munck unveiled Sadworld, a YouTube channel dedicated to "weird, absurd" and experimental comedy sketches, as well as LSD trips on October 9, 2016. The videos have a distinct editing style, with descriptions like "an assemblage of photographs, glitches, and sounds designed to overwhelm viewers' senses."
