Niles Fitch (born July 12, 2001) is an American actor best known for his appearance in the NBC series This Is Us.
Personal life
Fitch was born in Atlanta, Georgia, to African American descent parents. His father (a financial advisor) and his mother (an attorney) all supported his acting by finding his first talent agent at 3 years old. His family and friends migrated to New York City in order to pursue acting and now lives in Los Angeles, California. Frederick, his father, died of lupus when Niles was 12 years old.
Fitch was the cousin of Rayshard Brooks, a 27-year-old African American man fatally shot by the Atlanta Police Department on June 12, 2020.
Career
When he was four years old, Fitch began doing print modeling. His first job was in a Parisian back-to-school ad. As Young Simba's replacement, he made his stage debut in the 2012 North American tour of The Lion King. He appeared in Our Lady of Kibeho, a 2014 Off-Broadway performance.
With a guest appearance in Tyler Perry's House of Payne, he made his television debut, followed by a recurring role in Army Wives' Season 7's. St. Vincent and Roman J. Israel, Esq., were among his early film credits.
In the NBC series This Is Us, Fitch will portray a young version of Randall Pearson, a role that has earned him an Ensemble Screen Actor Guild Award. From Season 2 onwards, he and the rest of the teen cast were promoted to series regulars.
If Not Now, When? Miss Virginia and the Virgin Mary. In May 2019, Fitch would appear in the 2020 Disney+ film Secret Society of Second-Born Royals. In August 2020, it was announced that Fitch had begun filming The Fallout.
