Nick Oshiro (born July 29, 1978) is an American singer best known as the former drummer of the industrial metal band Static-X. He has worked with the South African post-grunge and alternative metal band Seether before. * In an interview with Tama, he started out with a drumkit made by his father. It was made of pots and pans, of which his father built the entire kit. After seeing a Whitesnake video at the age of nine, he wanted to be a rockstar. * He had a large following in Las Vegas, Nevada, right away. * After leaving Seether in 2003, he joined Static-X as a touring drummer but later became a full member. * Oshiro uses a Tama drum kit (it is a Starclassic Maple in Blue Galaxy Fade), Sabian cymbals, Vater drumsticks, and Remo drumheads.
