In 2007, they measured decibel levels of 132, a world record for a football match and undoubtedly not good for the ears. The entire place is starting to shake. This is a regular Monday night fixture, early in the season, broadcast live on television and still jammed with more than 40,000, with every single one of them seemingly jumping on the ground and contributing to the dine.

Redmond has signed a one-year contract with the Istanbul-based group, bringing an end to a six-year tenure on the south coast. Redmond, who came from Norwich City in the summer of 2016, has had limited playing time lately and has been deemed surplus to demands. He has only played 15 times for Southampton in 2022, including just one late cameo appearance as a substitute on the first day of the new season in a 4-1 loss at Tottenham. The former Birmingham City youthster made 232 appearances for Southampton, where he hasn't scored a single goal. Ralph Hasenhuttl, the 28-year-old manager of Redmond, claims that the club's supporters are raving about his stay at St Mary's Stadium, and that he will now continue to make a difference in Istanbul.

After the clubs agreed to a nominal fee, the 28-year-old will fly to Istanbul on Wednesday morning ahead of his medical examination. Redmond was the subject of a deadline day request from Premier League new boys Bournemouth, but no progress was made. However, Saints boss Ralph Hassenhuttl and the club have granted him a transfer away from the club with less than a year remaining on his deal.

Hector Bellerin, James Garner, Leander Dendoncker, and Willian were among the major names to move on a frantic last day of the summer transfer window. Michy Batshuayi, Ben Breton Diaz, and Arsen Zakharyan's late moves didn't happen before the 11 p.m. deadline on Thursday. SIMON JONES of Sportsmail rounds up the deadline day drama.
