Strictly Come Dancing's Shirley Ballas apologised after shocking audiences by kissing fellow judge Motsi Mabuse during the first live show on Saturday night. The dancing expert, 64, was giving advice to Olympic swimmer Tom Dean and his dance partner Nadiya Bychkova about their tango performance when she gave an impromptu demonstration. Shirley explained that the style was 'all in the posture' as she asked Motsi to help her illustrate the point.  

Motsi Mabuse is set to join the Strictly Come Dancing tour for the very first time. The professional dancer, 43, has served as a judge on the BBC show since 2019, but has never joined fellow judges as the programme takes its annual tour of England and Scotland. Motsi Mabuse took to Instagram on Friday to mourn the death of Dancing With The Stars' Michaela DePrince whose death at just 29 was announced earlier that day. As well as appearing on the American remake of Strictly, which Motsi judges, Sierra Leonean ballerina Michaela appeared in Beyonce's Lemonade visual video album. Motsi, 43, shared a black and white picture of the performer with the words 'Dancing angel' and 'rest in power: Michaela Mabinity DePrince, 29', according to The Mirror. She wrote in the caption: 'This is incredibly sad. Rest in peace dear! Remember having a fan moment when I met you in Amsterdam. Role model to many. Gone too soon.' Motsi finished her tribute by posting a video clip of Michaela dancing across a pedestrian crossing in the USA.

However, judge Craig Revel Horwood, 59, was almost unrecognisable as he sat next to his fellow judges Motsi Mabuse, 43, Shirley Ballas, 64, and Anton Du Beke, 58.  The dancer and choreographer, who has been with the BBC show since its inception in 2004, looked worlds away from his usual self as he debuted some new facial hair.
