Morgan Elizabeth Hurd (born July 18, 2001) is an American artistic gymnast and a four-time member of the United States women's national team (2016-Present).
She is best known for her well-balanced strengths across all four events as well as her polished and dynamic floor routines.
She is a five-time world medalist and bronze medalist for the 2017 World all-around championship and balance beam silver medalist.
During her senior career, she has earned four medals at the USA Gymnastics National Championships.

Personal life
When she was 11 months old, Hurd was adopted from Wuzhou, China. She was enrolling in gymnastics at the age of 3. Hurd began training at First State Gymnastics in fifth grade. Sherri, her mother, now lives in Middletown, Delaware. She is one of the few elite gymnasts to wear glasses during competition.
Junior career
Morgan Hurd placed 14th as a level 10 in the Nastia Liukin Cup in 2014. In July, she finished 8th at the American Classic for the eighth time. Hurd came in 18th at the National Team Classic in Las Vegas, behind future National Team member Victoria Nguyen. Hurd placed 29th in the all-around for Juniors at the P&G National Championships.
Hurd earned her first appearance on Uneven Bars in 2015, placing 9th on All-Around and 2nd. She placed 8th in the All-Around, 7th on Floor Exercises, and fourth on the Uneven Bars, placing 8th in the P&G National Championships.

Senior career
Hurd was the senior in 2017 when he took over the role. She made her international debut at the 2017 Stuttgart World Cup, where she finished third overall, behind Tabea Alt of Germany and Angelina Melnikova of Russia. Hurd was a champion of the City of Jesolo Trophy in April and was the first nation to finish first. Hurd placed 6th on balance beam and 2nd on floor in July at the U.S. Classic, finishing second behind Jade Carey and 6th on floor. Hurd was chosen to represent the United States in the 2018 American Cup on December 11, 2017. She competed with first-year Maile O'Keefe and came in first overall with a score of 56.599. Hurd was selected to compete in the 2018 Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships, which also included Grace McCallum and Jordan Chiles. After a mishap on her balance beam dismount, she earned team gold and placed second in the all-around, behind McCallum and second in the all-around.
