Their front four - Jarrod Bowen, Mohammed Kudus, Michail Antonio and Lucas Paqueta - had come under fire for their lack of productivity in front of goal. Only Bowen had scored from open play before Saturday. Antonio and Kudus had no goals while a penalty against Aston Villa on the opening day was Paqueta's only contribution in the Hammers' first six games.

Steve McClaren took part in a bizarre video after his first training session as Jamaica manager. Jurgen Klopp's long Liverpool farewell is in danger of turning sour after a touchline row with Mohamed Salah during a 2-2 draw at West Ham which hammered another dent into their fading title hopes. Crystal Palace have poked fun at Nottingham Forest's statement following their win over West Ham. Palace won 5-2 at home to Palace having established a four-goal lead by the 20th minute. After the game Palace couldn't resist poking fun at Forest, who had earlier issued a statement slamming 'poor decisions' in their 2-0 loss to Everton. 

The Hammers came up short in their bid to pull off the almost impossible against the newly-crowned Bundesliga champions, drawing 1-1 on the night but losing 3-1 on aggregate. Despite celebrating the north London club's success this season, Michail Antonio has jokingly hit Arsenal fans and has called them delusional. Arsenal fans have a lot to celebrate right now, with their team having won eight league games on the bounce, scoring a whopping 33 goals in the process, and seeing them rise to the top of the Premier League standings. With just two points separating Liverpool, Manchester City, and the north London club, we're likely to see what could be one of the most exciting conclusions to a Premier League championship match in a long time.
