Dipnall, 24, became 'fixated' with Ms Cooling after she moved out of a domestic violence hostel in Stockport, where the perpetrator worked in October 2021. She confessed to stalking at a earlier hearing and was sentenced to two years in jail, suspended two years. Miss Cooling was so afraid that she left her job and moved to another part of the United Kingdom. She is also believed to be operating under a new handle. Dipnall was given a restraining order, forbidding any contact with Ms Cooling.

Dipnall also admitted to setting up social media pages threatening Ms Cooley, alleging that the perpetrator was having "sexual relationships with all the residents" at her place of work. A court heard that Dipnall stole images from the victim's social media pages and sexualized them, changed the focus of her shop to a "sex store" and emailed her stating "die b***h."
