I was recently… very recently described as “angry” and “too masculine.” Which made me so sad because the standard for femininity (that is acceptable) is based on a certain group that does not represent the whole of us who identify as Women. I appreciate this coming for a Black Man experiencing America. I am not angry. I am direct and have to assert myself. I genuinely cannot afford to fuck up or fuck around and find out. It means something completely different for me than it does for you. Thank you Trevor Noah 🙏🏾
